I have been instrumental in developing and organizing various community projects and Clubs and has also been an active member in such organizations over the past ten plus years as: Boys & Girls Club, AWAIC (Abused Women in Crisis), STAR (Standing Together Against Rape), Juvenile Detention Center, Community Works, Respite, Soroptomist, Kiwanis, Jackson County Search and Rescue plus Easter Seals to name a few. My recent passion is starting a not for profit organization ?My Sister?s Closet? where ladies who have either graduated from college or re-entering into the work force come to pick two (2) business outfits for interviews and job attire. I am in the beginning stages and am collecting clothing of all sizes.
